To drive a car on the road in the United Kingdom the normal minimum age is 17 years old and you will need
to have a provisional driving licence, (for information on how to apply for your provisional driving licence check out www.dlvl.gov.uk) Then you can start taking driving lessons and prepare for your driving tests.
Beginners (Introductory Lesson)
If you have never driven a car before you will be driven to a very quiet location where you will take the driving seat and be taught what the controls of the car are and what they do and by the end of the lesson you will drive the car.
Drivers (Assessment Lesson)
If you have already driven a car before or maybe you have had lessons in the past or you hold a full drivers license in a different country the assessment lesson is good to find out what you can already do and what you need to learn to make you a safe confident driver to go on to pass your driving test.
